Best Practices for High-Strength Steel Repairs (SPS09A)
Many of today's vehicles are built with High-Strength Steel (HSS) and Ultra-High-Strength Steel (UHSS) to reduce vehicle weight and improve fuel efficiency. An improper repair to HSS or UHSS can have serious consequences and can be fatal in some situations, make the need for consistent methodologies absolutely essential. Understanding how to properly work with these materials is critical to ensuring that five-star crash ratings are not compromised and that the vehicle's integrity remains unchanged.
This course meets I-CAR ProLevel or annual training requirements for the following roles: Auto Physical Damage Appraiser, Estimator, Non-Structural Technician, and Steel Structural Technician.
Cost: $93/Course
