Las Vegas, Nevada—Advanced Flow Engineering (aFe) is illustrating the personalization and customization potential of the Nissan JUKE crossover with the release of “The Zone” JUKE at the 2012 SEMA Show. With the SEMA Show being the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world, Rapid Scan 3D had the pleasure exibiting this year showing of 3D scanning technology. This amazing 3D scanning technology is being used for inspecting parts and reverse engineering. Many aftermarket companies were not aware of these type of 3D scanning tools. How does a company know they are desgning and manufacturing good parts? The answer is to use a 3D scanner to collect accurate data of the real part. The next step is being able to analyze that part against the CAD drawing.
Nitto Tire kicked off the 2012 SEMA convention by announcing its most recent partnerships and milestones. The company celebrated having recently reached two million fans on Facebook with a guest appearance by DJ and producer Steve Aoki. Show attendees enjoyed cake and received autographed posters while Aoki’s tracks played in the booth. The event marks the countdown to Aoki’s birthday bash concert on November 21, 2012, which will be fueled by Nitto.
Global Rally Cross driver David Binks, fresh off this week's big race at SEMA, and Formula Drift racer Tony Brakohiapa will be appearing at the eBay Motors booth in the North Hall on Thursday (booth #11917).
David will be chatting with fans and signing autographs from 11:00-12:00, while Tony B. is available from 2:00-3:00.
