WELD Racing News Conference to Announce New Product and Branding Strategy and New Agreement with a Major Specialty Vehicle Manufacturer

Kansas City, Mo. – WELD Racing (WELD), manufacturers of WELD Racing Wheels, will host a news conference at SEMA 2014 on Wednesday November 5 at 12 p.m. to unveil a new product and branding strategy that will redefine the WELD Racing brand name and extend the company’s reach into exciting new market segments. WELD’s strength has always been in their uncompromising commitment toward building world-class racing wheels. In 2015, that commitment will be paired with new marketing materials and messaging to reinforce the brand, and reassert WELD as the global leader in performance wheel technology.

This media event will outline new strategies and structural changes that will strengthen the brand. There will also be information about product changes and updates that will affect enthusiasts, distributors, dealers, and the media.

WELD RACING STRENGTHENS MOTORSPORTS TEAM; PROMOTES SALES EXECUTIVE

(Kansas City, Mo.) – Expanding on its nearly 50 year commitment to motorsports, WELD Racing (WELD) has announced the promotion of Mike Mulcahy to vice president of sales. Mulcahy now has total responsibility for company sales including street performance, truck and motorsports.

Mulcahy joined WELD in March of 2014 as vice president of the company’s street and truck business lines after a successful career as an executive with Federal Mogul and running his own client-focused motorsports business.

The company has also announced the addition of Greg Bennett to WELD’s sales and marketing team. Bennett assumes responsibility for trackside service and sales for WELD’s drag racing and oval track racing product lines. In partnership with the most advanced engineering team in the specialty wheel industry, Bennett will oversee WELD’s close collaboration with professional and sportsman racers to ensure that WELD’s partners continue to dominate the winner’s circle.

WELD Racing Names The Marx Group as Agency of Record for Public Relations

Kansas City, Mo. – WELD Racing (WELD), manufacturers of WELD Racing Wheels, has selected The Marx Group as the company's agency of record for all public relations efforts. The Marx Group will assist WELD with communicating the new WELD marketing and branding strategies through trade show support, public relations writing and distribution, and will represent the company to trade and consumer media.

WELD Racing Teams Up with RacingJunk.com to Give Away a Customized 2014 Chevrolet Silverado at the SEMA Show

Kansas City, Mo. – WELD Racing (WELD), manufacturers of WELD Racing Wheels, has teamed up with RacingJunk.com to create a year-long promotion and contest to mark the website’s 15 year anniversary. At the 2013 Performance Racing Industry trade show in Indianapolis, Ind., RacingJunk.com announced a partnership with WELD Racing to give away a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 Extended Cab and a trip to the 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas to one lucky winner.

The truck has been modified with aftermarket components and has spent the last year traveling around the country appearing at shows and events like the Charlotte Auto Fair, the Hot Rod Power Tour, NASCAR Coke 600, NHRA 4-Wide Nationals and Knoxville Nationals.
