Placentia, CA – Oct 25, 2013 –McLeod Racing is proud to announce that we will have two generations of NHRA drivers signing autographs at the McLeod SEMA Booth #22835. Both Tom “Mongoose” McEwen and Paul Lee will be available for autographs on Thursday November 7th between 11-12 a.m.
Tom “Mongoose” McEwen is a legend. The Mongoose first started drag racing in the early 50’s. His legendary match racing between himself and Don “the Snake “ Prudhomme were so wildly popular that just this past year the Snake and The Mongoose movie was released. The movie depicts one of the greatest rivalries in NHRA history.
Paul Lee starting driving when he was just 16 when he would “borrow” his mom’s Plymouth Duster to race at Atco Dragway. That passion for racing helped propel Lee up the NHRA ranks all the way to Top Fuel Funny Car. Not only is Paul an event winning NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car driver but he is also the owner of McLeod Racing.
BOWLING GREEN, KY - Quick Fuel Technology, known for its innovative carburetors and fuel systems, is introducing QFi - a bolt-on throttle body electronic fuel injection system capable of supporting 500 HP. While the market is awash with bolt-on EFI systems, QFi is different: It combines the superior fuel atomization aspects of a carburetor with the precise fuel control of EFI. The patent pending 8-hole annular discharge sleeves inject fuel into a venturi where air speed is at its peak, and pressure is at its lowest, atomizing the fuel far better than any traditional injector nozzle can do. This results in a much more homogeneous fuel/air mixture that burns faster and more complete, producing more power and better response.
QA1’s Ultimate Ball Joints are now offered with more stud length options.
Available in popular bolt-in, press-in and screw-in styles, QA1’s ball joints come pre-assembled with standard and up to 1” longer studs. Longer studded ball joints can help to improve the overall geometry of the car by increasing straight line stability and improving roll center. They also help to free up bind, allowing the suspension to operate smoothly through the entire range of travel.
QA1 is excited to offer its high quality upper and lower control arms for a wide variety of GM X-Body vehicles.
Made in QA1’s Lakeville, MN facility, these GM X-Body upper and lower control arms are available for ‘68-‘74 Chevy Novas, ‘71-‘74 Pontiac Venturas, ‘73-‘74 Buick Apollos, & ‘73-‘74 Oldsmobile Omegas.
Featuring powder coated tubular construction, QA1’s GM X-Body control arms are engineered for increased strength, durability and performance. The lower control arms feature interchangeable mounts for a QA1 front Pro Coil Kit or factory mount shocks and springs, while the upper control arms allow for easy camber adjustment and add approximately 2-3 degrees of caster and 0.5-1 degree of negative camber.
QA1 is proud to add front sway bars for GM X-Body vehicles to its already extensive line of American-made suspension components.
Manufactured in QA1’s state-of-the art fabrication facility, the GM X-Body front sway bars are available for ‘68-‘74 Chevy Novas, ‘71-‘74 Pontiac Venturas, ‘73-‘74 Buick Apollos and ‘73-‘74 Oldsmobile Omegas. These front sway bars bolt in to the factory location and are engineered to provide increased stability keeping the tires firmly planted.
QA1’s GM X-Body sway bars are made from lightweight, hollow-core chromoly steel for maximum strength, and are black powder coated for lasting durability and corrosion resistance. They also include mounting bushings and end links for easy installation.
QA1 is excited to announce the addition of its new 27 Series stock mount monotube gas pressurized shock absorber to its circle track line of products.
QA1’s 27 Series shocks feature easy, bolt-in installation and are available in all popular stock mount options. Multiple racing classes can easily install the 27 Series into several mounting configurations, making it simple for racers to get on the track and get the performance they want. Available in hyperscrew or sealed hyperscrew, these shocks are a great choice for street stocks, hobby stocks, mini stocks and other classes that require a stock mount shock.
QA1 is excited to add 600 and 650 lb. spring rates for its GM front Pro Coil Systems.
Designed for GM A, G and F-Bodies, Chevy S-10’s and Tri-5 Chevys, QA1’s 600 and 650 lb. made in the USA springs provide performance-style handling and support vehicles with heavier front end weights. These 10 inch, conical springs can be purchased separately or with QA1 GM Pro Coil Systems, making it easy to upgrade a GM style front suspension set up. The 600 lb. spring will support vehicles with a front end weight between 2201-2300 lbs. and the 650 lb. spring will support vehicles with a front end weight between 2301-2400 lbs.
QA1’s GM Pro Coil System springs are silver powder coated for excellent longevity and the ultimate in appearance. They are manufactured using the highest quality materials for high strength, consistency and durability. QA1’s springs are lifetime guaranteed to remain within 2% of their original free length under normal operating conditions.
QA1 is pleased to announce the addition of its new 53 Series stock mount twin tube shock absorber to its circle track line of products.
QA1’s new 53 series features a stronger, larger diameter body than the popular preceding FC Series. This larger body provides for easier gas bag installation and larger oil capacity for increased shock cooling. QA1’s 53 Series is manufactured in our Lakeville, Minnesota facility, allowing us to provide custom valvings to suit specific performance needs. The 53 Series is a perfect choice for Southern Sport Mods, stock cars, street stocks, mini stocks and limited modifieds.
CYPRESS, CA – Toyo Tires® will present an adrenaline-pumping driving demonstration November 6, with Team Toyo® stars Robby Gordon, BJ Baldwin, Kyle LeDuc and Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg. The event will take place during the 2013 SEMA Show in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall. The action will begin at 5pm when the 600-horsepower Stadium SUPER Trucks® start their engines and take off on Toyo Open Country tires.
Spectators will see the talents of two desert racing champions, Robby Gordon and BJ Baldwin. In addition, Lucas Oil® Off Road Racing Series 2012 Pro 4 Unlimited class champion Kyle LeDuc; and X-Games Gold Medalist and Pro 2 Unlimited short course driver Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg will also demonstrate why they are the best in their sport. Each driver will take multiple runs on the course.

TopTech Finder is officially launching the expanded website at the 2013 SEMA Show (booth 10747).
