Heatshield Products will be featuring the world’s first 30” turbine powered at the SEMA show.
Las Vegas, NV –Heatshield Products is proud to announce the presence of Voodoo Bikeworks turbine powered bike as seen on History Channel’s Bike Battleground Phoenix.
Heatshield Products helped out Kody and his crew with our Inferno Wrap. It was the only wrap Kody found that could tame the heat of his 30” turbine powered bagger. Taming the heat was absolutely critical to this build. An extreme heat power plant required the ultimate in exhaust wrap. It even thrived the oil leak and fire that ensued shortly after. When it had to go down for an attitude adjustment to the turbine, Kody was able to unwrap the wrap without it falling apart. Stop on by say high and check out on hot bike and see how it keeps it’s cool.
Lakeville, MN [October 23, 2014] - QA1 is excited to add a bolt-in rear coil-over conversion kit for 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles to its line of Pro Coil Systems.
The Rear Pro Coil Systems for GM G-bodies include specially designed mounting brackets, single or double adjustable aluminum shocks, springs and all necessary hardware. The single adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of simultaneous rebound and compression adjustment while QA1’s double adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of compression adjustment and 18 positions of rebound adjustment, for a total of 324 possible valving combinations. These shocks also have a threaded body allowing for ride height adjustability from stock to -1.5 inches. Multiple spring rate options are also available to choose from for casual street driving to hard core race applications.
Lakeville, MN [October 23, 2014] – QA1 has teamed with the legendary Troy Ladd of Hollywood Hot Rods® to release traditional-looking, adjustable shocks for street rods.
QA1 President, Melissa Scoles is excited about the team-up, “Troy has been great to work with. His expertise as an award-winning street rod builder has been invaluable as we worked together to design this new series of shocks.”
Lakeville, MN [July 29, 2014] – QA1 Precision Products, Inc., a leader in performance shocks, suspension components and rod ends, is excited to release the Quad Adjust Shock, a 4-way adjustable shock for the street performance and racing market.
This 4-way adjustable shock features independent rebound and compression adjustments at both low and high shock speeds. These adjustments allow you to fine tune your suspension for low shock speed situations, such as corner entry and exit, and high shock speed situations, such as hitting bumps or curbs. These adjustments give you maximum tunability, keep the tires on the ground and improve control.
Lakeville, MN [October 28, 2014] – QA1 is proud to introduce the new Mopar Rear Suspension Conversion System, a bolt-in conversion from leaf springs to coil-overs.
Available for 1967-1979 Mopar A-body vehicles with an 8 3/4” rear axle assembly, this revolutionary system replaces leaf springs with a 6 link suspension. The 6 links replicate the geometry of the tried and true 4 link, while still mounting to the existing locations on the chassis.
“This system provides an easy, bolt-in option to replace your leaf springs without having to do any cutting, welding or fabricating,” said Karl Hacken, QA1’s VP of Engineering. “Now you can get the performance that comes with coil-over shocks without taking a torch to your Mopar.”
Lakeville, MN [October 23, 2014] – QA1 is proud to introduce its line of carbon fiber driveshafts for street performance vehicles. Available for GM and Ford applications, these driveshafts are lighter, stiffer, stronger and safer than aluminum and steel driveshafts.
Currently, QA1’s street performance driveshafts are designed for street use only and are offered in a 3.2” diameter with a variety of lengths and slip yoke options to fit the most popular Ford and GM applications. Driveshafts for drag racing and higher horse powered vehicles are also in development. Because every vehicle is different based on driveline, engine and other upgrades, QA1 is also able to design application-specific driveshafts in their Lakeville, Minnesota facility.
Lakeville, MN [October 23, 2014] – QA1 is proud to introduce its line of carbon fiber driveshafts for dirt late models. Available in all popular lengths with U-joints and an optional slip yoke, these driveshafts are lighter, stiffer, stronger and safer than aluminum and steel driveshafts.
QA1 is redefining industry standards by performing the filament winding in-house, in Lakeville, Minnesota facility. “Being able to control how the carbon fiber is made is critical,” said Travis Gorsuch, QA1’s Director of Advanced Materials. “We are able to make our products specifically for each application. Instead of just cutting a premade tube to length, we are able to customize the length, wall thickness and weave pattern of our driveshafts to meet each application’s specific needs.”
Lakeville, MN [October 23, 2014] – QA1 is expanding its line of Stocker Star shocks to include options for several GM, Ford and Mopar light trucks.
“The light truck performance market is huge and still growing,” said Dave Kass, QA1’s Customer Service Manager. “These shocks are perfect for the guy who wants a simple way to improve his truck’s performance.”
The new and updated shocks are made for the following 2 wheel drive applications: 1967-1987 Chevy C-10, 1988-2000 Chevy C-1500, 1982-2003 Chevy S-10, 1999-2007 Chevy Silverado 1500, 1980-2004 Ford F-150, 1987-2004 Dodge Dakota and 1994-2008 Dodge Ram 1500.
QA1’s Stocker Star shocks are bolt-in stock replacements that offer increased performance. With the ability to choose between double, single, Drag “R” Series, or non-adjustable options, these shocks allow you to get the performance you need for any driving style.
