Rover S.O.S.(Sultans Of Spark) Coils

Long neglected, 1996-2002 Range Rover and Discovery owners can now increase performance and improve fuel mileage through the ignition system by installing our new high performance SOS Coils! The new SOS (Sultans Of Spark) Coils by Performance Distributors have been designed and engineered to outperform the stock COP (Coil Over Plug) coils. New and advanced technology has allowed us to pack more electrifying voltage into these small coils so that the output helps you get even more power and performance out of your Rover V8! Our SOS Coils have increased windings to boost spark output up to 40,000 volts. That is at least a 50% increase in spark energy over the voltage deprived stock coils! The higher voltage along with increased spark duration allow plug gaps to be opened up to .055″. This larger gap exposes a hotter spark in the combustion chamber for an increased burn of the fuel mixture, resulting in more horsepower and better fuel economy.

Nailhead Buick D.U.I. Distributor

Performance Distributors has applied their ignition expertise to the Nailhead Buick engines with their new D.U.I. Distributors for these applications. This new D.U.I.(Davis Unified Ignition) is specifically designed for the Nailhead Buick engine. Performance Distributors calibrates the advance curve on a distributor machine to accommodate the timing requirements of these unique engines. The optimized curve provides instant throttle response and maximum performance throughout your rpm range, while protecting your engine from detonation. 2 versions are available. The Street/Strip version fires to a strong
7000 rpms, while the Racing version fires to 10,000 rpms.
The distributor comes complete, including the dependable Street/Strip D.U.I. Coil(or Racing Coil) and Dyna-Module
which allow you to open up your plug gaps to .050”-.055”, burning your fuel more
completely. Magnetic pick-up coil power is insured by aligning the teeth on the pick-up

S.O.S.(Sultans Of Spark) Coils for Jeeps

Performance Distributors newest addition to the S.O.S.-Sultans Of Spark Coil lineup is now available for the Jeep 3.7L and 4.7L engines. Our new S.O.S. Coils are designed with updated technology and enhanced windings. This has allowed us to increase voltage for each coil from 25,000 to 35,000 volts under load. That’s 10,000 more volts per coil for a total of 80,000 volts over the stock Jeep ignition system! The extra voltage under load, also known as the acceleration phase, increases spark intensity for a more complete burn of the fuel mixture. Plug gaps can be opened to .055″ and this improves throttle response, horsepower and fuel mileage. Additional benefits include quicker starting and smoother idle. Brass terminals provde corrosion resistance and improved conduction. SOS Coils mount in the OEM location with no modifications.
S.O.S. are covered by a one year warranty.

Silent Running’s new distributor program will be introduced at this year’s SEMA show.

Insulation manufacturers, Silent Running has finalized their new distribution program to provide distributors with a hands on display stand, literature, and marketing support. The company plans to increase their distribution network within the next year to allow for easier shipments to customers. The new distributor page allows customers to easily get in contact with their local distributors and and information tab for potential distributors to find out more about the opportunity.

Aussie solar car startup to showcase at SEMA 2015

Melbourne­based electric vehicle technology startup
EVX (www.evxventures.com) has announced it will be exhibiting its scaled down model custom
solar car and spin­off technologies at the world’s largest automotive speciality parts trade show
in the world, the SEMA Show 2015 at Las Vegas Convention Center, USA in November.

EVX is a collaboration with the leading electric vehicle R&D group at Swinburne University of
Technology and experienced local engineers who have designed and produced award winning
solar racing cars. The engineering team at EVX is led by electric vehicle expert Dr Clint Steele.
