BSTFLEX Heat Reflective Aluminized Fiberglass Sleeve - heatshield tube

Heat Reflective Aluminized Fiberglass Sleeve can be used to protect industrial wires, cables, hydraulics hoses, piping and tubing from radiant heat sources such as glowing steel slab, liquid metal pour stream, infrared heaters and other similar sources.

Heat Reflective Aluminized Fiberglass Sleeve is constructed of a woven E glass fabric with aluminium foil laminated to its outer surface utilising a resilient high temperature adhesive. the sleeve is formed by folding the material and sewing the edge with an Aramid or Fibre-glass thread. It reflects more than 95% of the radiant energy that hits its surface, keeping the underlying cables and hoses cool.

Heat Reflective Aluminized Fiberglass Sleeve offers superior thermal protection to components, especially in the Automotive Industry, where they are in close proximity to engines and exhaust systems. The sleeving is typically used to cover / protect:

Engine wire harnesses
Hoses and tubing
A/C line

BSTFLEX Heat Reflective Sleeve with Velcro - aluminum fiberglass heatshield

Heat Reflective Sleeve with Velcro can be used to protect industrial wires, cables, hydraulics hoses, piping and tubing from radiant heat sources such as glowing steel slab, liquid metal pour stream, infrared heaters and other similar sources.

Just wrap the preformed, split flexible tube around any component and seal the sides with the high temperature hook and loop velcro closure to provide protection from hot pipes and engine components.

Heat Reflective Sleeve with Velcro is constructed of a woven E glass fabric with aluminium foil laminated to its outer surface utilising a resilient high temperature adhesive. Heat Reflective Sleeve with Velcro is formed by folding the material and sewing the edge with nylon velcro or Aramid velcro.

Resists Gasoline and Engine Chemicals. Cut and Abrasion Resistant. Cuts Cleanly with Scissors.

BSTFLEX Knitted Basalt Sleeve

Knitted Basalt Sleeve is manufactured from Basalt fibre yarn knitted to form a sleeve which provides excellent thermal protection. Good anti-fray and handling due to knitted construction.

Knitted Basalt Sleeve allows the sleeve diameter to expand by up to 1.5times to accommodate flanges and bends that are common with most exhaust systems. Available in sizes from 1" ID up to 6" ID.

Knitted Basalt Sleeve possesses outstanding characteristics making it ideal for use on vehicle exhaust systems. Typical applications include heavy goods vehicles, buses, and certain automotive applications. It can also be used for high temperature Industrial applications over pipe-work and to protect hoses and cables etc.

Custom fabricated Exhaust Pipe Insulation Jacket systems for engine and generator exhaust components such as mufflers, turbo-chargers and pipe feature high temperature capability, reduction of thermal radiation and convection within the engine room and sound reduction. Often used for marine powerplants & generators and stationary backup power systems for industrial, commercial and municipal installations.

A thick needled fiberglass or silica insulation is mechanically supported by a stainless steel or inconel mesh and an outer fabric of either silicone rubber coated fiberglass, aluminized fiberglass or silica. Fiberglass is suitable for most non-turbocharged reciprocating engines. Silica may be required for turbo-charged engines and is required for gas turbine engine applications

The new quick-wrap Speed Sleeves Exhaust Wrap Jackets are an innovative way to insulate and block radiant heat.

The Speed Sleeves Exhaust Wrap Jackets cover the tubes vertically allowing for a consistent fit. The fit allows the exhaust system to expand as it comes up to operating temperatures without restrictions and provides air space for added insulation.

The Speed Sleeves Exhaust Wrap Jackets are easy to apply and can be installed with the headers mounted. Reduces under hood temperatures up to 70%. Increases horsepower and fuel efficiency. Jackets withstand temperatures up to 2000° F. Works on all headers with 2 in. diameter or smaller primaries. The kits include enough material to insulate up to 22 in. of each primary tube, and all necessary fasteners.
