Clemson students unveil Deep Orange 3 at SEMA 2012

LAS VEGAS — Deep Orange 3, the third-generation Deep Orange vehicle prototype designed and engineered by automotive engineering students at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR), is a whole new vehicle — inside and out.

In partnership with Mazda North American Operations, the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calf., and numerous other automotive companies, CU-ICAR’s innovative vehicle prototype program allows students free reign to push the boundaries of conventional design and engineering.
