WyoTech to Unveil Custom 1964 Ford Truck on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 1:00pm, Booth #12573 in North Hall

WyoTech is proud to announce the unveiling of a custom 1964 Ford truck that was built by WyoTech students and faculty at the Blairsville, Pa. campus. The truck will be revealed for the first time at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5 in the WyoTech booth #12573. Sarah Burgess will be on hand to assist with the unveiling. Burgess races a 750 horsepower Ford Mustang in the Xtreme Drift Circuit and is sponsored by WyoTech.

“This project showcases the skills and training that WyoTech offers at several of our schools across the United States,” said Michael Stiglich, division president of WyoTech. “We’re excited to unveil the truck to the SEMA show attendees.”

When Michael Essa was crowned 2013 Formula Drift Champion in front of a sold out crowd at Irwindale Raceway on October 12, he made history as the first privateer and first European car to win a Formula Drift championship. On hand during the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Essa will be available to sign autographs and answer questions about his amazing season. Ken-Tool introduces the #30600 Professional Super Single Axle Drain Pan

Ken-Tool, the leader in hand tools for the tire service industry, has announced its latest new product, the 30600 Professional Super Single Axle Drain Pan. The new drain pan solves the problem of gear oil and grease drips and spills on wheels and tires, and on shop floors when servicing the axles of trucks and trailers.

Manufactured in the U.S.A. from lightweight, high density polyethylene (HDPE), the axle drain pan can be securely attached to the wheel using two or three lug studs with finger tightened nuts. The pan is contoured to rest flat with the sides gripping the wheel's drop-center. The pan fits most 22.5- and 24.5-inch, 10-hole hub or stud-piloted steel or alloy super single, wide-base and dual wheels.

Ken-Tool announces the new 36010 5-bar SUPER MAGNUM tire cage

Ken-Tool, the leader in tire servicing hand tools and equipment, has announced the expansion of its industry leading line of tire restraining devices with the introduction of the 36010 5-bar SUPER MAGNUM cage, helping raise the safety of truck tire service to a new level.

Testing has shown the SUPER MAGNUM cage reduces the side-force energy resulting from a catastrophic sidewall zipper rupture of a Super Wide-Base tire by 93 percent. The impressive reduction of side-force energy is achieved with expanded steel mesh deflection barriers welded to the insides of the cage tubing. The cage features 5 mandrel-bent, high-strength 12 gauge, 2-1/4” (5.7 cm) diameter structural steel tubes, welded to a 3/16” (0.48 cm) thick steel plate base with a 2.0” (5.08 cm) wide, 1/4” (0.635 cm) thick reinforcing strap welded to the tubes.

Radar Tires Continues to Support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Increases Donation per Tire in Groundbreaking 'Mobilizing Hope' Campaign

For the third consecutive year, Omni United continues its Mobilizing Hope campaign and corporate alliance program to support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF). For every one of Omni United’s Radar brand tires sold between April 2013 and the February 2014, the company has pledged to increase its donation per tire to $5, with a minimum donation of $200,000 and a maximum donation of $250,000.

As Omni United and Radar have enjoyed significant success and growth over the last few years, the company continues its objectives with this program to increase both awareness and funds to support the efforts of BCRF. Money raised in the campaign goes directly to the BCRF to help prevent, treat and ultimately eradicate this disease.
