Lake Zurich, IL – New Optimum-RR Street Performance Clutch Kits from Quarter Master® allow Mitsubishi Evo drivers to maintain engine revs for close-to-stock drivability.

These kits enhance the street driving characteristics of Mitsubishi Evo 8/9 daily drivers. Each one comes with a flywheel that increases MOI (or rotating weight) over the brand’s lightweight race version to within 80% of the stock component while keeping mass at a minimum. It weighs nearly two-and-a-half pounds less than the stock piece. Quarter Master® accomplished this by strategically placing mass in designing the flywheel to increase MOI and not overall weight. This allows the driver to maintain RPM for the smooth takeoffs and clutch modulation that Optimum-RR Import Clutches are known for. FAST XFI Sportsman Engine Management System With Throttle Body

Memphis, TN – The FAST™ XFI Sportsman™ Engine Management System is a simple, programmable and custom-tunable unit designed to fill the space between the EZ-EFI 2.0® Fuel + Ignition and XFI 2.0™ segments. A new version of the system now also features a throttle body.

Designed for muscle car, late model street and sportsman drag racing engines, along with boosted applications, the FAST™ XFI Sportsman™ Engine Management System is a bank-to-bank, fully software-tunable EFI setup. It requires a laptop for tuning and uses FAST™ C-Com® software, which comes packaged along with a necessary USB connectivity cable. A new version of the system also includes a 4150-style, eight-injector, 1200-horsepower-capable throttle body to provide easy installation when upgrading a previously carbureted setup.

The latest TCI® offering comes in the form of a bolt-together converter designed specifically for GM 4L80E and TCI® 6x Six-Speed™ transmission applications. Its high-stall nature gets the engine to max torque and multiplies it as the vehicle starts to move. This improves vehicle launch and overall performance. Additionally, the converter features a triple-disc lock-up assembly with woven carbon frictions to handle more torque and dissipate heat more efficiently than the stock component. FAST Electronic Throttle Control Module

Memphis, TN – A new electronic throttle control (ETC) module allows an electronic throttle body to be used with FAST™ EFI systems.

The FAST™ Electronic Throttle Control Module enables the use of any FAST™ EFI system with late model GM LS crate and transplant engines equipped with electronic throttle bodies. The ETC Module takes readings from a GM LS-type pedal assembly and opens or closes the electronic throttle body in response. This creates a drive-by-wire system and eliminates the need for problematic throttle cables and linkages. The module also features optional, user-selectable throttle response curves for more or less throttle-blade opening based on a given position. This affects how aggressively the engine responds to movement of the driver’s foot. The FAST™ Electronic Throttle Control Module is plug-and-play with all FAST™ EFI systems, select OEM GM pedals and throttle bodies, and the FAST™ 102mm Electronic Throttle Body.

FAST EFI HEI Distributor Module

Memphis, TN – FAST™ has developed a simple plug-and-play module that will upgrade a current four-pin HEI distributor to be compatible with today’s aftermarket EFI systems.

The new FAST™ EFI HEI Distributor Module provides an EFI-friendly tach output signal –something that is not offered in OEM versions. This signal allows users to easily upgrade their current HEI distributor without the addition of a tach module and the extra wiring involved. The FAST™ module provides improved performance over OEM options due to the addition of multiple-spark capability, which allows for a more complete burn of the fuel mix in the chamber. Designed for street, drag, circle track, boat and off-road applications, the FAST™ EFI HEI Distributor Module serves as a direct drop-in replacement to upgrade an OEM HEI distributor. It is compatible with all EZ-EFI® & XFI Sportsman™ systems, along with other aftermarket EFI systems requiring an RPM signal.
