Unique adhesive film technology captures attention of OE and Aftermarket industry
AkzoNobel’s stickerfix™, the industry’s first pre-coated ultra-thin film adhesive DIY paint solution, continues to generate buzz amongst the automotive industry as it gears up for a return to SEMA 2013.
Following the highly successful debut of stickerfix at SEMA 2012, and the online launch of stickerfix in Europe’s prestigious Halfords retail chain, several major U.S. companies are preparing to include stickerfix in their DIY paint solution line-up for 2014. The growing momentum is a result of the positive retailer and consumer feedback about the adhesive film technology’s quick, clean application. There is also considerable interest in stickerfix’s superior color match, thanks to AkzoNobel’s premium Sikkens pre-coated finishes. Stickerfix offers a revolutionary method for helping car owners conceal unsightly paint scratches and chips any time they need it.
AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas (A&AC) will showcase its multi-brand refinish portfolio, industry sustainability platform, and exclusive education classes at SEMA 2013. Select products from the Sikkens®, Lesonal®, and Wanda® brands will be on display in Booth #25043 in the South Hall’s Racing & Performance area. In addition, stickerfix™, the first commercial DIY paint solution from AkzoNobel, will be featured in Booth #13049 in the North Hall’s Appearance and Accessories area.
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products will feature the work of Legacy Innovations, LLC and their show-stopping, custom-renovated 1958 Corvette at SEMA, booth 21313 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV. Legacy Innovations, founded in 2006, specializes in chassis design and fabrication, body restoration and modification as well as a full range of services from building to renovation for custom, rare and exotic vehicles. From the start, the company has partnered with ESAB for all its welding and cutting equipment requirements.
Andrew McLaughlin, owner of LetzRoll Offroad Racing, and his newly-inked offroad buggy, will be on site at the ESAB Welding & Cutting Products booth at SEMA, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV. McLaughlin will make scheduled appearances at booth 21313 from November 6, 2013 through November 8, 2013.
