German car care specialist SONAX to exhibit at 2015 SEMA

SONAX, the German market leader in premium car care products, will be exhibiting at the 2015 SEMA Show (www.semashow.com) in Las Vegas on November 3-6 in booth #12161 North Hall and, for the first time, at the AAPEX Show (http://www.aapexshow.com) November 3-5 in booth #3352 also in Las Vegas.

Master Detailer Renny Doyle (www.detailingsuccess.com) will be, for example, presenting the SONAX PROFILINE range. He will again be the SONAX booth emcee. Renny Doyle will be conducting interviews with the car care industry’s most prominent figures and introducing multiple professional detailers who will be demonstrating SONAX products. Another special guest in the SONAX booth will be legendary car customizer John D’Agostino (www.celebritykustoms.com). On display will be John’s awarded 1959 Cadillac “Elvis III”, an awe-inspiringly refurbished show car styled down to the finest detail, turning the SONAX booth into a real crowd-puller in the North Hall.

New Distributor Program for Silent Running

Silent Running’s new distributor program will be introduced at this year’s SEMA show.

Insulation manufacturers, Silent Running has finalized their new distribution program to provide distributors with a hands on display stand, literature, and marketing support. The company plans to increase their distribution network within the next year to allow for easier shipments to customers. The new distributor page allows customers to easily get in contact with their local distributors and and information tab for potential distributors to find out more about the opportunity.

Aussie solar car startup to showcase at SEMA 2015

Melbourne­based electric vehicle technology startup
EVX (www.evxventures.com) has announced it will be exhibiting its scaled down model custom
solar car and spin­off technologies at the world’s largest automotive speciality parts trade show
in the world, the SEMA Show 2015 at Las Vegas Convention Center, USA in November.

EVX is a collaboration with the leading electric vehicle R&D group at Swinburne University of
Technology and experienced local engineers who have designed and produced award winning
solar racing cars. The engineering team at EVX is led by electric vehicle expert Dr Clint Steele.

Ranch Hand Welcomes Mike Kane as new VP of Manufacturing & Engineering

Ranch Hand is adding some manufacturing muscle to its team of experts in the SUV and truck accessory industry. His name is Mike Kane, and he is the new Vice President of Manufacturing and Engineering for Ranch Hand. Mike is making strides to improve the manufacturing and engineering processes.

OTC announces Technician Challenge national tour in North America

The OTC Technician Challenge is going on tour with dates in six states, showcasing the Encore with new Bravo 2.0 software. Technicians nationwide will compete to win one of three Ultimate Diagnostics for Life packages. Ultimate Diagnostics for Life winners will receive an OTC Encore kit with a lifetime hardware warranty and lifetime diagnostics subscription from OTC.

Co-hosted by OTC and distribution partners, technicians will be challenged with random vehicle diagnostic issues and tasked with identifying the problem using the OTC Encore. The technician with the fastest time at select events will receive a $150 cash card from OTC. Any technician who pre-registers and attends an event will receive a free pair of OTC technician gloves. Germantown, WI, July 9, 2015 – J.W. Speaker Corporation, founded in July of 1935 by John W. Speaker, began as a manufacturer of automotive repair parts; including, radiator fronts, car mirrors, repair kits and automotive lighting. In the early 1940’s, J.W. Speaker developed the Heatab® miniature portable stove and the “P38” GI can opener. Both were widely used during World War II and for several decades after by the U.S. military.
